Decision Avoidance Techniques for the Procrastinator
Because adulting is hard.
- The 5-Minute Rule - If it takes longer than 5 minutes to decide on something, give up and eat a cookie.
- - The "Maybe Later" Technique - Put it off until later, when it's too late.
- - The "Someone Else" Rule - Find a friend who's worse at decision-making than you.
- - The "Random Number Generator" - Spin a wheel, flip a coin, or roll a dice to decide.
- - The "Google It" Technique - Search for 3 hours and pretend like you're doing real work.
Remember, these techniques are not foolproof, but they're a good starting point.
