In 3072, the Feta Empire clashed with its long-time nemesis, the "Mozzarella Mafia" in the Great Cheese Wars. The war lasted for 17 years, resulting in the deaths of millions of dairy farmers and the destruction of countless cheese wheels.
Under the wise leadership of Emperor Feta the Third, the Feta Empire experienced a golden age of peace and prosperity. The empire expanded its borders, and the people lived in harmony with their dairy-filled surroundings.
As the empire's power waned, the Feta Empire fell into a deep recession. The people grew poor and hungry, and the once-great nation was plagued by the "Great Cheese Scam" of 3125, where corrupt officials stole all the nation's cheese reserves, causing widespread panic and rioting.
