DECISIONS OF THE COCKTAIL CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY

Subcommittee on Fruit-based Cocktail Classification

Meetings are held every Tuesday at 3pm to classify cocktails by the presence of fruit.

Current Classification:

• Class A: Fruit is 100% of the cocktail (e.g., Daiquiri, Margaritas)
• Class B: Fruit is 50% or more of the cocktail (e.g., Mai Tais, Cosmopolitans)
• Class C: Fruit is less than 50% of the cocktail (e.g., Old Fashioneds, Whiskey on the rocks)
