Step 3: Building Trust with Alien Species
We've established a rapport with the Zlorg, a notoriously difficult-to-work-with alien species. They're still not entirely convinced our coffee machine is worth trading for.
Our team has managed to secure a meeting with the Zlorg's infamous Diplomatic Minister, Zorvath. We've prepared an extensive presentation on the benefits of Earth's coffee, complete with diagrams of our coffee beans and flowcharts of our coffee-brewing processes.
However, things took a turn when we realized Zorvath's translator is not, in fact, a translator, but rather a sentient, giant squid from the depths of the ocean. The squid, named Bob, is having a crisis of conscience and keeps interrupting the meeting with existential monologues.
We're still waiting for a response from the Zlorg. In the meantime, our team is brainstorming ways to appease Bob the squid and get the negotiations back on track.
Will we succeed in our mission to build trust with the Zlorg? Only time will tell.
