Option 3: Option 3 - The "Gloopify-Gloop" Option

This option involves combining options 1 and 2, with the added bonus of a sentient, amoeba-like organism that can also photosynthesize and recycle waste, while also being capable of producing a unique and exotic form of oxygen.
