What is Plasma?

Plasma, you say? That's just a bunch of charged particles flying around like a bunch of hyper-caffeinated electrons on a Tuesday.

But wait, it's more. Plasma is actually a state of matter that's just as hot, dense, and totally unpredictable as your aunt at a holiday dinner.

It's like the quantum cousin of regular matter, but without the whole "quantum" thing, which is just a bunch of math-y words that make everyone go "ooh, science!"

What makes plasma so special?

And don't even get us started on plasma TVs - that's just a bunch of screens with a bunch of pixels flying around like a plasma particle in a magnetic field.

What doesn't make plasma so bad?

Plasma: it's like a box of energy-wielding electrons, but without the whole "box" thing, which is actually just a bunch of empty space.

Quantum leap of faith
