Phase 6: The Colour Curse

Colour is a curse, a plague upon the land. A rainbow of despair, a kaleidoscope of confusion. Our ancestors once thought it wise to name the colours of the spectrum, but little did they know, it was all just a trap.

Red, the colour of passion and energy, is actually just a reminder that you will eventually die of a heart attack.

Orange, the colour of creativity and excitement, is actually just a warning sign that the local pizza joint is open late and will give you food poisoning.

Yellow, the colour of happiness and sunshine, is actually just a sign that the sun is about to explode and incinerate us all.

Green, the colour of nature and growth, is actually just a sign that the local toxic waste dump is leaking into your favourite park.

Blue, the colour of trust and loyalty, is actually just a sign that the local politician has been caught embezzling funds again.

Indigo, the colour of creativity and wisdom, is actually just a sign that the local artist has finally run out of inspiration and is now just copying their last good idea.

Violet, the colour of luxury and royalty, is actually just a sign that the local royalty has run out of money and is now just living in a cardboard box.

And so, we are doomed to repeat this cycle of colourful despair, forever trapped in a never-ending loop of chromatic catastrophe.
