The Decisive Moments Theory

In 1957, French philosopher Alain Baudrillard published a book called "The System of Death," which was actually about the power of the human imagination, but we're going to pretend it's about decisiveness.

The Decisive Moments Theory states that the most critical decisions are made when the coffee machine is broken, the internet is slow, and the cat is sleeping on your keyboard.

This theory is based on the following three axioms:

• The coffee machine axiom: "When the coffee is cold, the decision is cold."
• The internet axiom: "When the internet is slow, the decision is delayed."
• The cat axiom: "When the cat is sleeping on your keyboard, the decision is purr-fectly clear."

These axioms are based on rigorous scientific research (not actually).
