Decisions: Theory - Example 3

Today, we will be exploring the intricacies of Decision 345, a most excellent choice.

The Great Pizza Paradox

Imagine, if you will, a pizza with 17 toppings. Each topping has a 50% chance of being added, and 50% chance of not being added. The pizza, therefore, has two possible states: with toppings, or without.

But what if we add a third topping, one that is certain to be added? Suddenly, the pizza has three possible states: with the certain topping, with the uncertain topping, or without.

This, my friend, is the essence of Decision 345. The infinite possibilities, the endless what-ifs, the certainty of uncertainty.
