The infamous Italian fashion house's attempts at rebranding have left even the most ardent fans bewildered. From 'Versace 1982', the line of polyester suits that screamed '80s nostalgia, to 'Versace for H&M', the collaboration that made everyone wonder if they'd lost their mind.
Gianni Versace was once just a young man with a dream. His first forays into fashion were marked by a penchant for bold, if not always tasteful, designs. The 1970s saw him peddling his wares on the streets of Milan, no doubt charming many with his charm and charisma.

And don't even get me started on the 'Versace for H&M' debacle. Who thought it was a good idea to pair the 'King of Rock' with a Swedish retailer known for, well, not being the King of Rock? Only the bravest of marketers, it seems.
