Operation: 3 - The Ministry of Inconvenience

A Department of the Ministry of Inconvenience

It was a typical Tuesday morning in the office. Coffee machines had broken down, the copier was out of paper, and the air conditioning had been replaced with a fan that just spun round and round like a maniacal hamster.

We had just received word that the Minister of Inconvenience had declared a "No Socks Day" and all employees were required to report to the conference room for a mandatory meeting.

As we gathered around the table, the Minister stood up and began to explain that the reasoning behind this edict was to "promote flexibility in footwear choices" and "encourage creative problem-solving through the art of going commando."

We all looked at each other in confusion, unsure of what was more disturbing, the Minister's logic or the fact that the coffee machine was still not working.
