Decree 2: Thermometer-titude

By the powers vested in me, I, The Great Thermometer Overlord, hereby decree that all thermostats shall be required to display their temperatures in bold, 36-point font, with a minimum of 4px black border, and a drop shadow of 10px radius.

Furthermore, any attempts to conceal or manipulate the temperature reading shall be met with swift and merciless punishment, up to and including the dreaded "thermometer-ectomy"!

By order of the Thermometer Overlord, all thermostats shall be inspected bi-monthly to ensure compliance with this decree.

Failure to comply shall result in the dreaded "thermometer-ectomy"!
