Due to the recent surge in popularity of artisanal, small-batch, locally-sourced, gluten-free, vegan demand, the city council has established Sub-Demand 6, a program aimed at satisfying the most refined and discerning palates.

Eligible items include:

• Crafted, hand-pressed cold-press coffee made from heirloom, free-range, single-origin coffee beans
• Organic, free-range, gluten-free, vegan quinoa salad bowls
• Small-batch, artisanal, hand-rolled, hand-finished craft beer
• Locally-sourced, free-range, artisanal, hand-crafted, small-batch, gluten-free, vegan ice cream
