FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Today, the Department of Redundant Stuff is proud to announce that we are still here, doing stuff, and making redundant announcements.
We are thrilled to announce that our annual award for "Most Unnecessary Committee Meeting" has been won by the "Committee for the Reorganization of Redundant Meetings" (CORRM) for the third year in a row!
CORRM has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the art of creating meetings that could have been emails, but were not. Their innovative approach to unnecessary meetings has set a new standard for the department.
CORRM's winning submission, "The Meeting That Lasted 17 Hours but Achieved Nothing," has been hailed as a masterpiece of redundant meetings.
CORRM's acceptance speech was a rousing success, full of platitudes and empty words, and lasted a whopping 20 minutes, beating the old record of 15 minutes.
We would like to extend our congratulations to CORRM for their well-deserved award and for making our departmental meetings even more redundant than they already were.
