The Paradox of Doing Nothing

It's a bit of a conundrum, isn't it?

By definition, you're doing something when you're doing nothing. But if you're doing nothing, are you really doing nothing? Or are you just doing nothing differently?

Consider the case of the philosopher who spends all day thinking about the meaning of life. Is he doing nothing or is he doing something profound?

Or what about the artist who spends hours staring at a blank canvas, contemplating his next masterpiece? Is he doing nothing or is he doing something visionary?

It's a paradox that has puzzled thinkers for centuries. But don't worry, we'll just call it a "_goals-based existential crisis" and move on.

But don't worry, we won't make you actually do anything.
