Etiquette for Dueling Gentlemen

Rules of engagement for the discerning duellist.

1. Always wear a top hat. No exceptions.

2. Carry a rapier, but not just any rapier. It's a Rapier Buying Guide that will help you choose.

3. Address your opponent with a title. "Lord" is acceptable, as is "Duke." "Hey, dude" is not.

4. Engage only after the agreed-upon signal. No surprise attacks. That's just not sporting.

5. Never duel on a Sunday. That's just not right.
