Chapter 7: Sunburned 2

Dr. Smith had always been a proud owner of a 1972 Pontiac Firebird. He loved that car. But one fateful summer, he took it out for a spin, sans sunscreen, sans hat, and sans regard for the impending doom that was to come. By the end of the day, his skin was a deep, crispy brown.

He claimed it was "character-building," but we know better. The neighbors reported seeing a human-shaped fireball walking around the neighborhood for days, leaving a trail of singed lawn furniture and a faint scent of charcoal.

Lesson learned: never underestimate the importance of SPF 1000 and a good bottle of aloe vera.
