It was a typical Monday morning when Ben decided he needed to get to work.
He had a meeting, and the bus was the only mode of transportation.
That's when he spotted him - a duck waddling down the sidewalk.
Without hesitation, Ben scooped up the duck and stuffed him into the bus.
The bus driver, a wise old man with a thick mustache, looked up at Ben and said, "You've done it now, buddy."
Ben replied, "I'm just trying to get to work on time!"
The other passengers looked on in awe as Ben sat next to the duck, which looked rather uncomfortable but unphased.
One passenger, a young woman with bright pink hair, asked if she could pet the duck.
Ben, still trying to get to work, told her no.
The bus rumbled off into the distance, with Ben and his feathered friend in the back.
The meeting, however, was a disaster.
The CEO looked up at Ben and asked, "And who's this?"
Ben pointed to the duck, "Just the bus ride."
The CEO raised an eyebrow.
The meeting ended abruptly, with Ben and the duck being escorted out.
