Welcome, esteemed members of the 2012 Acceptance Speeches! I'm Bob Smith, Esq., and I'm thrilled to be speaking with you today about the highlights of my acceptance speeches from 2011.
It's a pleasure to be here in the Year of the Golden Socks, a year that will be remembered for its unparalleled excellence in footwear.
As I look back on 2011, I am reminded of the many times I wore a pair of socks with a hole in them, and the times I wore a pair of socks with a questionable stain.
I'd like to thank my wife, MadamWifey, for her unwavering support, even when I wore those socks with a hole in them.
And, of course, I'd like to thank my colleagues for their understanding, even when I wore those socks with a questionable stain.
