Steve woke up at 6:30 AM, bleary-eyed from the night's Netflix binge. He stumbled to the kitchen, poured a gallon of coffee, and checked his watch.
It's 6:45 AM. His bus, the 7:00 AM "I'm Late" Express, is due to leave in 15 minutes. Steve has time for a quick breakfast.
He grabs a granola bar and a thermos of coffee, shoves them into his backpack, and heads out the door.
As he walks to the bus stop, he checks his phone for any important notifications. Nothing but a text from his mom asking why he didn't call her last night.
Steve arrives at the bus stop, takes a deep breath, and boards the bus. He finds an empty seat near the back and settles in for the long ride ahead.
