Here are some techniques to help you perfect the art:

• Repeat, repeat, repeat: The key to a good nag is repetition.
• Use a firm, yet soothing tone: You want to come across as authoritative, not menacing.
• Emphasize the importance: Make sure to highlight the dire consequences of not following procedure.
• Be prepared to escalate: Know when to call in the big guns - aka, your boss.

Remember, a good nag is like a good cup of coffee: it's a matter of degree.
