Don't be a hero, be a coward: Leave immediately in case of fire
When the fire alarm goes off, don't try to be a hero and put out the fire yourself. It's not worth the risk. Just grab your stuff and get outta there!
Why? Because, well, fire is hot. And also, because you're probably not trained in fire suppression.
So, just leave the fire department to the professionals. They have the fancy equipment and the fancy suits. You just have to have fancy exit strategies.
Also, make sure to turn off your computer, phone, and any other devices before you leave. Don't let the fire ruin your workday!
And, for the love of all things sane, don't try to use the elevator. It's not a good idea. Just use the stairs. Or, you know, the window. If you can fit.
