Welcome to the 2016 Year in Review! A time when it seemed like the world was going to end, but really, we were all just overthinking it. Like, what even is the point of a good year, right?
We had the rise of Donald Trump, because who doesn't love a good trainwreck? The Cubs won the World Series, because who needs a good team when you have hype? And Pokémon Go took over the world, because who needs human interaction when you have a virtual reality?
And let's not forget about the Olympics! Who needs actual athletic ability when you can have a good Instagram post about it?
But in all seriousness, 2016 was the year of the 'epic fail'. When the world was supposed to end, but it just kinda... didn't. Like, what even is the point of that?
