It was a dark and stormy night in the city of New York when the first reports started pouring in. Reports of a mysterious charge, one that didn't seem to add up to anything. At least, not anything that made sense.
At the precinct, Detective Inspector B. J. Wystan was on the case, determined to crack the code behind the Phantom Charge. He pored over the evidence, a stack of invoices and receipts that seemed to point to nothing.
"It's like they're trying to hide something," he muttered to himself, "but what exactly, I'm not quite sure."
As he dug deeper, he discovered that the Phantom Charge seemed to be connected to a series of high-end restaurants, each with a seemingly innocuous charge of $100.
"This is getting stranger by the minute," he said, "I'm starting to think it's not just a charge, but a cover for something much bigger."
He followed the trail to The Restaurant Connection, where he found evidence of a clandestine meeting between two of the city's most prominent businessmen.
But as he closed in on the truth, he received a cryptic message from an unknown sender: "Look again at the invoices, Wystan. You're looking at the wrong charge."
Confused but not defeated, he re-examined the invoices with fresh eyes, and what he found next would shake the very foundations of the city's financial district...
