Escalation Patterns 101 - Step 1: Say it Again with More Words

When in a conversation, a person is not getting the response they want, they may choose to repeat the initial statement, but this time with more words. This pattern is often used when the original request was not understood, and the individual is trying to convey their point more clearly.

Example: "I said I want more cheese, not just any cheese, I want artisanal, small-batch, organic, grass-fed, locally-sourced cheese."
