SONNET 342

In the void of space, where stars do shine

A space suit, my friend, is not just a thing

Of leather and wires, of life support machines

But a canvas for art, a stage for dreams

Where the infinite expanse of the cosmos beams

And on my visor, a galaxy's a flame

That fuels my passions, and makes me insane

To explore, to seek, to never be tamed

But still, I'll wear my suit, and never be ashamed

For in the void, I am not alone

My suit is home, and it's where I roam
