Sonnet 8: Galactic Ode to a Forgotten Sock

In the void of space, where planets spin and sway, I lost my favorite socks, and with them, my way, Through cosmic seas, where black holes do abide, I search for them, with tears in my space-dye.

For in that fabric, soft and warm as the night, I find my heart, my sole, my everything's delight, But alas, in zero-G, I find it hard to hold, For in the absence of gravity, my socks grow cold.
