Chocolate Chip Cookie Monster

This is a classic cookie recipe, with a twist: it's for the Cookie Monster. This recipe makes 12-15 cookies, depending on how you define "cookie".

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1 tsp salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Whisk in 1 cup unsalted butter, 3/4 cup white granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  4. Beat in 2 large eggs and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop 1/4 cup dough per cookie onto the prepared baking sheet.
