Project: "Table for 1"
"Table for 1" was my first attempt at woodworking. The plan was simple: build a table that would be able to withstand a 5-year-old's tantrums and hold an entire family's worth of pizza boxes. In theory, it seemed doable. However, the table's legs ended up being wonky, making it wobble like a newborn giraffe on stilts. The family was not impressed.

Project: "The Inflatable Pencil Holder 3000"
I was convinced that an inflatable pencil holder would be the answer to my desk's storage problems. I mean, who needs fixed, stationary pencil holders when you can have one that inflates to twice its original size and makes a loud "PFFFFFF" sound every time someone tries to pick up a pencil? The prototype was a success in that it did indeed inflate and make a loud "PFFFFFF" sound, but it also popped itself, spilling pencils everywhere, and had to be replaced by a regular pencil holder, which was just as boring.
