Welcome to our story of financial independence from your parents!
It all started when we realized that living in our parents' basement wasn't as cool as we thought it would be.
We had to get out, and fast. So, we did what any self-respecting adult would do: we moved to a small studio apartment with a 20-foot ceiling and a leaky faucet.
We were determined to make it on our own, but things got tough. Like, really tough. There were times when we thought we'd never make ends meet... but we persevered.
Our first major victory was when we managed to scrounge up enough ramen noodles to last us for a whole week. It was a proud moment, let us tell you.
But we didn't stop there. We took on odd jobs, sold some of our prized possessions (a VHS player and a Tamagotchi), and somehow managed to scrape together enough cash to buy a 10-year-old Honda Civic.
Now, we're living the dream! Well, maybe not living the dream, but at least we're not living in our parents' basement.
