Warning: Don't Try This at Home (or Do Try it, We're Not Judging)
Using a calculator, some spare change, and a roll of quarters, you can encrypt your message in the Fjordian cipher. It's like a game of "Guess who's got the secret?" but with more math and fewer whoopee cushions.
- Take your message, and multiply each letter by the number of fingers on the hand holding the calculator.
- Add 7.5 to each number, then multiply by pi (because, math).
- Divide by the square root of the number of cats in the room.
- Finally, replace each number with the corresponding letter from the Fjordian alphabet.
Example:
Message: HELLO
Step 1: 4 * 4 = 16, 5 * 5 = 25, 12 * 12 = 144, 15 * 15 = 225, 12 * 12 = 144
Step 2: 16 + 7.5 = 23.5, 25 + 7.5 = 32.5, 144 + 7.5 = 151.5, 225 + 7.5 = 232.5, 144 + 7.5 = 151.5
Step 3: 23.5 / sqrt(5) = 9.5, 32.5 / sqrt(5) = 6.5, 151.5 / sqrt(5) = 30.6, 232.5 / sqrt(5) = 46.5, 151.5 / sqrt(5) = 30.6
Step 4: Replace with Fjordian alphabet:
9.5 -> K, 6.5 -> N, 30.6 -> G, 46.5 -> E, 30.6 -> G
