Here at the Food Density Index, we've taken the liberty to measure the density of the world's most beloved foods. And by "beloved" we mean "we just made it up."

Currently, our top three dense foods are:

• Energy-dense foods like beef jerky and energy bars
• Liquid-dense liquids like olive oil and honey
• Dense solid foods like dried apricots and potato chips
