I asked for a book on the history of 1980s video games, but I'm pretty sure I left it on the couch. Or maybe I lent it to my neighbor, Bob. Or possibly I sold it at a garage sale.
I swear, I was reading it just the other day, but now it's gone. I'm starting to think that I'm the only person in the world who has lost a book on the history of 1980s video games.
I'm starting to feel like I'm trapped in a never-ending cycle of forgetfulness. First, it was the keys, then the TV remote, and now a book. What's next? My car keys? My phone charger?
Is it too much to ask for a simple book about the golden age of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong?
Maybe I'll just have to write my own book. "The History of 1980s Video Games (Lost and Found)" has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
