It began with a whispered rumor of a 90% humidity level in the city. Panic set in as citizens scrambled to buy up every available dehumidifier.
Chaos erupted as the first reports of humidity-induced mold growth began to surface. The government deployed the Humidity Control Units (HCUs) to combat the menace.
The HCUs, now known as the "Moldy-Macs," were deployed en masse, but their attempts to mitigate the humidity only seemed to make things worse.
As the humidity continued to rise, the citizens of the city banded together, forming the "Dry Resistance," a ragtag group of rebels determined to reclaim their city from the forces of moisture.
The Dry Resistance launched their final assault on the HCU headquarters, but were met with a hail of water balloons and a surprise appearance by the infamous Humidity King.
