How it Works
Points are assigned based on the severity of the infraction, with minor infractions earning 1-5 points, and more severe ones earning 6-20 points.
- Minor Infractions:
- - Jwalking (2 points)
- - Littering in public spaces (3 points)
- - Using the phrase 'I'm not saying you're fat, but...' in conversation (1 point)
- Major Infractions:
- - Reckless endangerment of a public bicycle (10 points)
- - Excessive use of the phrase 'I'm not a morning person' (15 points)
- - Failing to return a borrowed item for more than two weeks (20 points)
Citizens can earn demerit points by engaging in positive activities, such as volunteering, donating blood, or attending city council meetings.
- Positive Activities:
- - Volunteering for a local charity event (5 points)
- - Donating blood to the city's Blood Bank (10 points)
- - Attending a city council meeting (2 points)
