The Iron

History of the Iron

It all started with the ancient Egyptians and their fancy schmancy irons. They used them to iron their togas, because, you know, fashion.

Fast forward to the 19th century, the industrial revolution, and the introduction of the first steam-powered iron. Because, of course, who needs human labor when you have hissing pipes and scorching hot metal?

And then came the 1960s, and with it, the iconic iron with a built-in toaster. Because, why not?

But, let's not forget the 80s, when irons became sentient and started judging us for our wrinkly clothes.

Today, we have the smart iron, which can iron your clothes and order you a pizza. Because, multitasking!

And that's not all, folks! The iron has come a long way, baby!
