Justification 4: The Whimsy Algorithm

According to our highly unreliable sources, the Whimsy Algorithm is a complex, yet utterly unnecessary, mathematical construct designed to justify the existence of the color pink.

In other words, it's a fancy way of saying that pink is the best color, and if you don't like it, you're wrong.

Here's a simple example of how it works:

The Whimsy Equation:

W = P * (R + G + B) / (T + S)

Where:

• W = Whimsy (the answer)
• P = Pinkiness (a measure of how pink something is)
• R, G, B = Red, Green, and Blue (the RGB values of the color in question)
• T = Tolerance (a measure of how much the user can tolerate the user's own ignorance)
• S = Silliness (a measure of how silly the user's argument is)

This equation is, of course, utterly useless, but it looks cool on a t-shirt.
