Chapter 1: The Paradox of the Puddle

The void is a place where the certainties of life are tested and found wanting. I, Krzysz, have spent many an hour pondering the mysteries of the void.

But what is the void, really? Is it a place of nothingness, or is it a place of infinite possibility?

Some say it is a great expanse of nothingness, a chasm of despair that yawns open before us, threatening to swallow all that we hold dear.

Others claim it is a realm of endless wonder, a place where the laws of physics are but a distant memory and anything can happen.

But I, Krzysz, say that the void is... well, actually, I'm not quite sure.
