Counterclaim: A Rebuttal of Utter Ridiculousness

Here at the Institute for Utter Ridiculousness, we take great pride in our work.

However, some of our competitors at the Institute for Slightly Less Ridiculousness would have you believe otherwise.

They claim our work is "unscientific" and "lacking in rigor." We take umbrage with these claims, and hereby submit the following counterclaim:

• Their work is based on the principles of "good faith" and "sound reasoning," but these are merely buzzwords.
• Our research has been peer-reviewed by the most esteemed members of the Intergalactic Academy of Utter Ridiculousness.
• The results we've published have been rigorously tested, with controls for every variable, except the one we forgot to include.
• Our findings have been replicated by the most respected institutions in the field of Utter Ridiculousness, including the University of Bizarro and the School of Extreme Science.
