Deep beneath the rickety midway, where the smell of funnel cakes and desperation hangs heavy in the air, there existed a secret society of children who had grown too old for the carnival, but too young for adulthood. They were the lost children of the carnival.
Among them was Jack, a young man with a penchant for getting stuck in boxes. His family had been coming to the carnival for generations, and he was determined to make a name for himself as the greatest escape artist this side of the Ferris wheel.
But when he got stuck in the Jackpot, he found himself in a bit of a pickle.
Legend has it that the Jackpot was not just any box, but a magical one. A box that granted wishes, but at a steep price. The price being that you had to get out of the box before the carnival workers came to collect you.
Jack, being the brave one, tried to make a wish, but ended up getting stuck.
