The Lemon: A Fruit of Utter Despotism

Philosophical Musings

According to the Lemon, the fundamental nature of existence is one of tartness and sourness. A lemon, by its very essence, resists categorization. It defies the binary categorizations of sweet and bitter, its flavor profile a jarring reminder of the complexities that lie beyond our feeble human understandings.

The Lemon's ontology is one of constant flux. One moment it's a symbol of citrusy warmth, the next a harbinger of impending doom (see: Lemon Law of the Ancients: "If a lemon is placed in a fruit salad, it is a harbinger of despair").

And yet, the Lemon's seeming contradictions only add to its allure. Like the ancient Greek philosophers, we are drawn to the Lemon's enigmatic presence, its very existence a challenge to our understanding of the cosmos.
