Limey McSourface's Lemon Standards History
Located in the heart of Lemonland, this esteemed institution has been upholding the highest standards of sourness for centuries. Our founder, Limey McSourface, established the first-ever Lemon Standard in 1356, which was later codified into the Lemo Code.
Over the centuries, we've had our fair share of notable milestones:
- Limey McSourface's Great Sourness Reform of 1856: A sweeping overhaul of the entire lemon industry, ensuring that all lemons would henceforth be the epitome of sourness.
- Limey McSourface's Sour-ific Theory of 1923: A groundbreaking theory on the optimal ratio of sourness to tartness, still widely referenced today.
- The Great Lemon Uprising of 1987: A brief but intense period of lemon-related social unrest, which we're told was caused by our own Lemon Union representatives.
Today, we continue to push the boundaries of what it means to be a truly exceptional lemon. Come visit us and discover the secrets of the most sour lemons in all the land!
