Legend has it that the Ancient One of the Sands possessed the knowledge of the ancient ones. A being of great wisdom and power, able to see the shifting sands of time as the ever-changing dunes of the desert.
It is said that the Ancient One of the Sands could see the threads of fate that connect all living things, and was able to manipulate the very fabric of reality.
But, alas, the sands of time have shifted, and the Ancient One of the Sands has vanished into the abyss of forgotten lore.
Some say that on quiet nights, when the stars are aligned just so, you can still hear the whisper of the Ancient One's wisdom on the windswept dunes.
Or, at least, you can hear the sound of a thousand camel's noses as they sniff out the trail of breadcrumbs left behind.
