When 8-Tracks Took Over the World (Sort Of)

From 1975 to 1987, 8-Tracks were at their peak. They were everywhere. In cars, in boomboxes, in bedrooms. It was a world where the only thing more popular than the 8-Track player was the 8-Track tape itself.

But, as with all good things, 8-Tracks came to an end. Or did they?
