Welcome to Madness 101, where we explore the delightful world of paradoxes that will drive you mad!
Today's lesson: The Grandfather Paradox. This one's a doozy.
Imagine a time machine that can travel back in time. Sounds simple enough, right?
Well, things get messy when you realize that if you go back in time and kill your own grandfather before he has children, then you were never born... which means you never went back in time in the first place, so you must have been born, and therefore... ARGH!
Don't worry, this won't happen to you. Probably.
But wait, there's more! We have a bonus lesson on the Predestination Paradox, where you'll learn how to predict your own destiny and still manage to mess it up.
