As the world continued to spin out of control in 2022, we found ourselves with more exceptions than rules. Or, at the very least, more exceptions that we pretended to follow.
We're talking about the exceptions that were so obvious, so glaring, that everyone knew they were there but pretended not to see them.
Like the exception where everyone in the city wore pants, but only on Tuesdays.
Or the exception where you were allowed to eat an extra cookie if you wore a hat.
These, my friends, are the exceptions that made 2022 the year of 'I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm not arguing with you.'
