2022 Mandate of the Year: Because Who Needs Laws When You Have a Good Excuse?

By the power vested in us, we declare the 2022 Mandate of the Year a resounding success! With this esteemed honor, all citizens are hereby mandated to do exactly what they already do every day: scroll through their phones for hours, eat Cheetos, and complain about how the government controls their every move.

Submandate 1: All citizens are required to attend a minimum of 5 hours of virtual meetings per week. Because who needs face-to-face contact when you can just Zoom in and stare at each other's screens?

Submandate 2: All businesses are mandated to offer an optional " Wellness Day" where all employees can take a 3-hour break to do absolutely nothing productive. Because sometimes the most important thing is not getting anything done.

Submandate 1: Virtual Meetings: The New Face-to-Face Submandate 2: Wellness Day: A Day of Utter Unproductivity Submandate 3: The Mandatory Nap Time
