Manifesto of Code

A declaration of the rights and wrongs of coding

Article 1: We, the programmers, hold that code should be beautiful, yet functional. We reject any code that is ugly, inefficient, or simply not cool.

Article 2: We believe in the importance of commenting our code, lest the world forget the reason behind our brilliant solutions.

Article 3: We, the maintainers, demand that code be maintainable, lest it become a burden to ourselves and others.

Article 4: We, the innovators, recognize the value of code as art. We celebrate its beauty and its impact on the world.
