The Coffee Declaration of Independence

We, the people of Caffeinated Republic of America, are a nation of caffeine-fueled, sleep-deprived individuals.

We hold these truths to be self-evident:

1. We are not a morning person, but we will be.
2. Our cups of coffee are our freedom.
3. Our lattes are stronger than our willpower.

When in the course of our lives, we are forced to choose between sleep and coffee, we choose the coffee.

With a strong heart, we declare:

1. That we, the Caffeinated, are a nation of free people.
2. That we shall not be silenced by the snooze alarm.
3. That our coffee shall be our sword, and our laptops our shields.
