Or, as the great philosopher, Sir Reginald P. Bottomsworth III, once said: "A sufficiently large number of arms is always a good idea."
But, seriously, the Principle of Occam's Razor Thingy is all about simplicity and efficiency. In the immortal words of the great Many Armed Band Aid philosopher, "There is no need to overcomplicate things, unless you're trying to make a good first impression at the royal court."
